Do you mean for breakfast or dinner?

I have gone for breakfast and it was one of the best we had all week. We plan on going back because it was so good.:thumbsup2

I have been for both breakfast and dinner...both were fabulous. Breakfast had the typical breakfast fare, in addition to the most delicious breakfast pizza.

Dinner had a wide variety of items, my personal favorites were the steamed clams and mussels...however if you don't like seafood there were plenty of other items as well. The salad bar at dinner is also fabulous.

it is our favorite buffet :thumbsup2

We've been there for breakfast and it was a good chance to see the characters in cute swim suit costumes.

To get there from Pop, your best bet would be via car or taxi. Using Disney transportation, take the bus to Studios and then the boat to the Beach Club area. If you use Disney transportation, allow plenty of time for the bus/boat.

The only time I would avoid using Disney transportation is if you are trying to get there for an early breakfast. B/c the best way would be to take a bus to DHS and then the boat to the BC but the boats don't run early enough. In that case I would take a taxi. But for dinner, any which way w/ Disney transport is gonna work just fine for you.

IF you have a breakfast you must use a cab. We did and it was easy, I think it was about a $10 trip from our hotel.

I have seemed to be in the minority on this but this was one of our least favorite meals of our last 4 trips, and I was looking forward to it. (We went in 2008.)

The restaurant had nice decor, but it was very loud. The service was poor. (I didn't get any silverware, and took about 10 minutes to get it after I requested.) The characters came through and seemed like they barely had time to stop for pictures. (And what's the point of having Chip and Dale come around separately....Chip and Dale should be met together.)

I was also not impressed with the breakfast food...but I have to put a caveat in there...to me breakfast is sort of all the same.....I think getting a buffet for breakfast is a bit of a waste. That said, though, we did Crystal Palace for breakfast last trip...and I thought the food was MUCH better there.

So, it's one of the few restaurants we'll never bother going back to.

Though - to answer the other question - we used a cab from POFQ. It cost about $15 each way to get there. I would recommend that over a bus/boat ride that'll probably take more than an hour each way. We allowed ourselves 1 taxi-ride per trip, and just accept that as part of the trip cost.

I just asked this question the other day!:goodvibes The popular answer seemed to be take a taxi for around $10.00. Another suggestion was to take a bus to Downtown Disney and then a bus to Beach Club, which is a good idea-but we are having a 745 am breakfast, so that won't work.

We always do dinner rather than breakfast, so we take a bus from whatever park we're at, or we'll take the boat from the Studios. (Mason's mom: many people don't rent cars or drive to WDW, but rather just fly in and take the magic express and use disney transportation :))

This will be year 5 for us with free dining, and it will be our third visit to Cape May for the dinner buffet (highest repeat for us for any restaurant!). We  it!

It scared me there for a minute. I was thinking there might not be anywhere to park LOL! We always drive down it's not that far for us.:cutie:
Can't wait to try Cape May Cafe!!
