Cape May Cafe or T-rex for dinner?

I am trying to pick a restaurant for the family to go to for a dinner outside one of the parks. Kids aren't picky eaters so any type of food makes them happy. Which would be best atmosphere/food?

Cape May only has characters at Breakfast, and it looks pretty inside, but I think if you are doing dinner with kids, I'd go for T-Rex.

I agree, T-Rex is more fun for kids. Unless those kids really like Clam Bakes.

Great got the reservation at T-Rex and that one was a snap compared to ADR line through Disney!

Glad you did the TRex. Kids will have fun. We enjoyed it there our last trip, kids requested it again for next time. Plus then you can enjoy DTD for a bit after/before dinner!

We really enjoyed T-Rex last February and would definitely go again. Keep in mine that the back room is much quieter then the front of the restaurant and that the meals are HUGE! I had an appetizer and was just fine and my DH and Mom each ordered the same thing and next time would share it and still have plenty left over!

Cape May is not great for kids at dinner time...We love the breakfast for the food, the characters, and the atmosphere...But our kids did not really enjoy being there at dinner time...

We have T-Rex scheduled for our next trip...

For our family, the following are great outside the parks:
1. Whipsering Canyon Cafe
2. Rainforest Cafe
3. ESPN Zone
4. Trails End

T-Rex was alot of fun in Dec. Would deffinately do it again.

I figure TRex is just like the other chains, Fridays, RainForest etc.

We ate at T-rex in April. The was good but the atmosphere was better. My kids love dinosaurs and the different theme rooms. They had a great time and after dinner we let them build a dino for a treat
