Ok, another question, on our DHS day should we go to Cape May Cafe for a late breakfast or Hollywood N' Vine for a late breakfast?? We did Hollywood N' Vine last year and my kids have kind of outgrown Little Einsteins, but it is at DHS.
How hard is it to get to the Beach Club from DHS?? Isn't there a boat between the 2?
Thanks!

I always like to try something different, and there IS a boat. The only issue would be getting to HS in time for TSM fastpasses! If you are set on a late breakfast and you want to do TSM, I guess I'd go back to H&V. Maybe an *early* breakfast at Cape May?

I had a similar dilemma last year. We went in mid-October 2008.

We hit HS at 7:30 (early EMH), entered at 8:00, rode TSM (walked right on with no wait), grabbed fastpasses for later, exited the park and caught the boat to Beach Club and made it to Cape May for our 9:15 ADR. We were cutting it really close, but we made it with about 5 minutes to spare. So it really didn't take long to travel between HS and Beach Club. We were back at HS around 11:00-ish using our FP.

If you are going for the characters, then make the trip to Cape May. The buffet is pretty good, and more "grown-up" characters. If you are simply going for a meal, stay @ DHS and don't waste an hour of Park time.

Definitely Cape May!! The entire dining experience is wonderful! Even fuddy duddies like DH and DS19 have a wonderful time there! It is so good that DD18 thinks we have to eat there every trip and sometimes more than once!

You can take the boat ride or take about a 10 to 15 minute walk.

we usually do the Hollywood and vine but since we are staying at the Beach club we are doing the earliest cape may cafe and then either you can take the boat or there is a walk way to the studios. We always walk i think its faster than waiting for the boat and then stopping at the boardwalk and the swan and dolphin its about a 15 min or so but we power walk it and love it. But I'm also the crazy one that walks through epcot just to get the monorail to magic kingdom. Lol . Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone! I'm looking at an 11:10 ADR for Cape May, so I think I may go ahead and do this. This should give us plenty of time to ride TSM and then maybe something else before getting on the boat to Beach Club.

Thanks again!

We just did breakfast at Cape May in Aug and we loved it! We had a later time and the characters spent so much time with us. We will definitely be going back. I believe there is also a path you can take and walk from DHS to the Beach Club area. :goodvibes

Definitely Cape May. 100% times better than H&V (one of two places you couldn't pay us to eat at in Disney ever again).

You can take a boat from HS to Cape may?????

Yup! The boat dock is to the left as you exit the Studios. It stops at the Swan & Dolphin and then the Yacht & Beach Clubs (Cape May Cafe is at the Beach Club). It continues on to the Boardwalk and then, finally, to EPCOT's International Gateway.

Of course if you're talking about the real Cape May (in NJ) then I'm afraid you're out of luck. ;)
