Cape May Cafe late breakfast

We are thinking of booking the last possible reservation for the character breakfast at cape may cafe (11am) does anyone have any thoughts on this? Will we be rushed out? Have less character interaction? Cold food? We are not huge breakfast eaters, usually just have fruit and coffee in the room but we wanted to try this character breakfast for our daughter. We are staying at the Yacht Club and planning on being back at the resort around lunch time most days for pool time/nap time so we thought we may be able to make this work as more of a brunch/lunch option, I just don't want to regret it! Any input is welcome

You will not be rushed out. Nor will you have cold food.

Character interaction is hit or miss here (in my personal experience) no matter what time you dine. But just let your server know if you have any problems as they can alert who they need too in order to get the characters over to you. Most of the time before a character goes on a little break, the handlers will ask the area if everyone has seen said character.

We had the last breakfast reservation at 1900 Park Fare in January and had a large group(10). We were all adults but did want character pictures. We were not rushed at all! The buffet stayed up for about an hour after our reservation and we were notified that the restaurant will be open as long as we want but they were going to shut down the buffet. So we got ample notice to get our last plates. The character handlers were there and made sure to ask which characters we needed to see before they left so you're guaranteed to see them all (but I did ask just so we didn't miss any). It was a nice leisurely breakfast as the restaurant cleared out and our group stayed and visited for a while.
