Cape Canaveral Conditions???

I have not seen any threads on the condition of Cape Canaveral.

Has anyone had any contact with folks there? I hope everyone is save.

PORT CANAVERAL UPDATE ON HURRICANE JEANNE



Subject to wind and wave conditions, the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Monday morning will assess Port Canaveral harbor to determine when the channel will reopen to vessel traffic.

Initial landside inspections show minimal damage.

The Port reopens at 9 a.m. Monday to tenants, who are encouraged to return to their businesses.

Power restoration continues on the north side, with intermittent power on the south side.

For the most current information on Port operations, please call the public advisory information line at (321) 783-7831 and choose option #3. All information is subject to change.
