Can't wait to see "Signs"

by M. Night Shyamalan. I asked DH to take me next week for my birthday.

I just loved Sixth Sense, especially seeing it on DVD with all the symbolism explained.

He is shown on the cover of Newsweek saying "The Next Steven Spielberg."

We plan on going Sunday. I finally talked my DD into seeing it. She was so excited when the Sixth Sense came out and we took her and she hated it. She told me she would go to Signs, only if it didn't have dead people in it. It could be interesting.

I can't wait to see it either. I don't think DH is as interested in seeing it anymore though because we heard that it was kinda a let down...but what do those movie reviewers know anyway??? I've liked plenty of movies that they have said sucked.

My neice gave me the lowdown on "M. Night" before Sixth Sense came out. What a young genius. When I saw the trailer I wasn't interested until I saw HIS name. It's amazing how a name can change your mind!

and it hardly hurts to have Mel Gibson in there!

I love Mel Gibson and normally I'd be first in line for this movie because supernatural thrillers are irresistable to me.

But this time, I'm a little put off by the fact that the Discovery Channel disproved crop circles a year or so ago! They had two guys on the program who explained how they did it and then they showed via time lapse photography that it *could* be done by two men in one night without machinery.

So it's a little difficult for me to get all excited about Signs now. I'm disappointed actually. I love being scared to death.

DVCajun- I bet you'll still enjoy it. I saw that show too. I bet they even hired those guys for this movie to make the crop circles

It was really amazing to see how they did it though. Besides, I think the crop circles just play a small part in the movie. I may be wrong though.
