Can't wait to be at FW

We will be checking in tomorrow and I can't wait. This will be our 5th Christmas at the Fort and this year we are taking even more decorations. I hope if any other Dizer sees us you stop and say hello. We will be in a pet loop in a old TT with a snowglobe , mickey, sanata w/ sled and snowman blow-ups. Along with many many other lights. Hope everyone has a magical holiday.

MRSGUS06 Glad you got your unit back. Will you be there for New Year's? We are still up in in the air about going New Year's. If we go we hope to see everyone there.-- For the people going for Christmas-New Years go to the 600 loop and look for the Zimmerman's site, they have won best decorated site at FW for years. Stillh2o, yes, we finally did get the camper back, but with a lot of issues. We will be there from Dec 26-Jan 2. As I said in my previous post, we always ask for the 1700 loop. Look for an Everest. How is your new coach? I hope to finally meet some other Disers while there! There was talk of a get together New Years Day, with everyone bringing a dish, but plans may have been changed. Our griller (Bigdisneydaddy) had to change his plans and can not make it. I will let you know if it will happen.

Unless I am mistaken, the Zimmermans normally in the 619 site are in the 1300 loop, at least they were there end of Nov. and 2 Sundays ago when we were there.

MRSGUS06 the new coach is great but like all of you know, all new RV's have some minor issues. We don't know if we're going for New Year's. We are thinking about parking the coach for the month of march at FW and come and go as we please. Lookup the Zimmermans they have a great display. We spend a lot of time during our New Year's trip walking around looking at the decorations. People really put a lot into the feeling of Christmas at FW. If we decide to go, we will look you up!

We leave a week from today, and we're so excited! First-timers. However, it's been snow/ice here in southeastern PA and there's already talk of another storm late next week. I already told DH that if it means we leave in the middle of the night a day early just to beat the storm, that he better be ready.

We are also leaving a week from today, pulling a fifth wheel from Michigan. Plenty of snow here. We are also hoping we can make it out. Last year we left the day after the huge snowstorm that hit ......will never do that again. We drove through Michigan, Ohio and part of Kentucky until we finally left the snow and ice behind. We are checking in on Sunday and I'll be hunting for everyone! We'll hopefully be in 1700 and we have a Pooh and Mickey inflatable and new this year we have a wooden Mickey and Pooh.

If you are interested in meeting other Dis-Board Friends check in with Ms Sundee at the campfire show. She works Tuesday through Saturday. She's a good friend of all the Dis-People and she will be able to locate everyone. Sometimes I envy her. Oh well -- maybe in another lifetime!!

I will be at FW in spirit, we are shooting for the last week in March.

Be sure and go to the campfire movie on the 28th and watch one of my favorite movies.
Some very nice, highly placed, influential people really went out of their way to make a family feel special.

We leave in 25 days for 8 days of heaven in Ft. Wilderness. We are doing a Grand Gathering this year with 4 families (13 people). 3 families are camping in the preferred loops at Ft. Wilderness and one family at Wilderness Lodge.

It will be great to be "home" for a while.

Anyone else planning to be there during this time?
