Can't use Kohls percent off on Nike products

Yes rediculous! Kohls use to offer 20,30% on everything then 2 years ago not on Nike now it is Converse and Vans will be next! So I went to outlet down the street better deal. I like how there excuse is "Nike won't let us sell for discounts due to they sell to use in discounts". Um.. no they buy large quantities $5-$10 sell $60' to $70 in store. Show me Kohls where it states in your purchase contract you can't discount, yet Nike store or others do!. I shop far less there now.

It is the truth. I have a family member who just retired from Kohls. Nike wants to control pricing just like Under Armour and Apple do. Look at other stores. JCP has the same exclusions. Younkers and Belk too. If stores want to continue to sell Nike they have to sell the merchandise for the price Nike wants to sell it at. Only discounted when they allow it via sales. No extra coupons.

Btw, Converse is already on the no extra percent coupon list. I just got some shoes a couple of weeks ago, and they are not eligible for the percent off either. These brands know that they are what people want, and they will sell without the discounts. They have the power. If a store wants to stock name brands, they have to follow their rules.

Um, no? Kohl's has zero obligation or duty to share its business or operating documents with consumers.

You should really show Kohl's a lesson and not shop there at all any more.

I haven't bought Nike since they implemented this rule. Oh well! I'm sure it's no big deal to them. I'm not boycotting, I just can't afford their products without coupons. We have a friend that works for Hurley(owned by Nike) so if we ever want anything from the website they can get us a nice discount but even with it, they're still pricey. We've become a New Balance family for the most part.

New balance is excluded too..

Oh wow! I used coupons at DSW for NB in August and November of last year. Must have been a recent change. (We don't buy shoes often ) NB usually costs less than Nike anyway.

Edit: was just able to apply a 30% off coupon to a pair of NB shoes on kohls.com :confused3

Keep an eye on their sales on Nike shoes, especially online. You have to pretty much stalk their website because they sell out fast, particularly for boys athletic shoes. I was able to get my 8 year old son Nike basketball shoes for $37 a little over a month ago and I stored them away for back to school. He also plays basketball when football season ends so it was definitely a score for me. For my 15 year old son, I am almost always able to find him Nike Air shoes he likes on the clearance rack at Kohl's for less than $45 because he wears a men's size 9 which doesn't seem like a very in demand size out my way. My girls prefer Adidas thankfully .

I just bought a pair of Adidas shoes yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised that they were included in my 30% off coupon.

Really?
I buy the activewear for my kids, they do all star cheer.
I've never got the discount to work on the sports bras or compression shorts
the website excludes new balance sporting goods items. Maybe that is separate from shoes

Does anyone know if you can still use a Kohl's gift card towards payment and STILL get 30% off your purchase? And do you know if you have to put some or none on your credit card? I've been able to do it in the past but haven't done it recently. Figure another 8.4% off would be nice.

i did this last time and it works. I bought a $30 gift card, charged the rest on the Kohls charge card and still got the 30% off the entire balance.

Thank you, @Albort ! I've got a lot of orders to make...wondering if I should hold off to see if Ebates will offer 6% back before these stacking coupons expire on the 13th.
