Hi all! I was at a craft store yesterday with ds (3 years old). I was struggling with his car seat buckle just before we headed home. We were both giggling about it. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the lady who parked next to me waiting for me to finish so she could open her passenger car door. I quickly popped out of the back seat of my car, still hadn't done up ds's buckle and said to the lady, "Oh, sorry, you go ahead." I indicated that she get into her car and I'd continue with ds in a moment when she leaves. She said, "No, you go ahead." I said, "I think I'll be a while, I'm having trouble with the car seat, so you go ahead." I noticed that she was alone and there wasn't a car parked on the driver side. I wondered why she needed the passenger side when she could easily just hop in the driving side and open the back door on the driver's side to put away her bags. She seemed irritated. I was being super nice, I was in a great mood. ds and I were laughing all morning. She said really nasty, "I'll just my other door." I said, "I'm just having trouble with the car seat." Then she got very nasty and said, "I'm glad I don't have to deal with those (car seats)." I replied, "Funny, I am glad that I do." She hit the roof! "WHAT DID YOU SAY!" She replied. I just smiled, and continued with the car seat. What the heck was her problem? I am going to look at it as she was having a bad day. Just needed to get that off my chest! Thanks! S
