Can't trust MDE

So, I'm learning I can't really trust Disney's own app! I started using MDE months ago when I booked my Dec. trip and while making plans I selected a reminder for the Jammin Jungle Parade in our AK day. I have since learned that the parade was canceled last month yet my MDE still shows the reminder in my plans! So, if I didn't check other sources and foolishly trusted Disney to know what parades happen when, I'd have ended up waiting around for a parade that wasn't even happening! Makes me very nervous about what else will be wrong.

I know what you mean about MDE some of my family is missing but I did have some random person ive never heard of on there

This obviously won't fix everything, but I was able to get some details straight on MDE for my upcoming trip by simply signing out and then signing back in. But it really should be more reliable.

I'll be so happy when the reports of the many problems with MDE start going away. It makes us nervous too. We just have an attitude expecting reservations and FPs to be lost, and we'll go with the flow. If they are still there as we reserved them (and I believe they usually do work), then we'll be happy! But if they are lost or messed up as many people seem to report, then just go with the flow and have fun another way. What I have no desire to do is stand in CS line or talk on the phone with IT. This is vacation time. Make your reservations, hope for the best, and enjoy the visit no matter what happens.

The idea that we have to suck it up and make the best of it stinks. Yes, that is what we will do but when you are paying 1000s for a vacation- these kinds of problems- and some of them are BIG ones- are not acceptable.

I remember the carefree days of old--way back in...2012 What a difference two years has made.

My MDE tells me in big red bold letters that there has been a change to my FP+ reservation on the Barnstormer, and I need to do something about it.

That's awesome. Thanks for letting me know. Of course, that FP+ was made for a day last January.
