That's too bad you had such a rough experience with that! I always recommend taking the stroller for a test drive in the store and try to walk like you would when out and about.
We finally broke down and shelled out the money for a Peg Perego P3 because it was the only stroller both DH and I could push without kicking the wheels.
I found one that was marked down because it was a 2006 model - but it was brand new.
NOW - I see them on Craigslist all the time too. (hardly any when I was looking for one though - go figure! LOL)
