Can't Reload My Disney Gift Card!?!?

UGH!!!! Well here's the skinny! 2 weeks ago I realized I had about $354 left on an American Express Gift Card I had received as a gift for Christmas, so I went to www.disneyshopping.com to spend it in anticipation of our upcoming August 08 trip! I spent $154 on t-shirts, beach towels, etc. for DD and me and $200 on a Disney Gift Card to take on the trip. My train of thought was I would keep adding to the card over the next 5 weeks before we leave for our trip. My DD has a change jar she has started, she has collected empty pop bottles, etc. Plus she has earned $50 Disney Dollars over the past 3 months (purchased from our local Disney Store in March & April).

Well, both Disney Stores in the Buffalo, NY area are CLOSED!!!!! Effective immediately!!! One in April, which I knew about and the other closed last month, I was unaware! Now I can't reload or add to the card I have or purcahse new Disney Dollars! I can't reload or add to the card online either! Is anyone aware of another way to do this?? Also, what are us Buffalonians to do without a Disney Store!!?? I am sick over this!

Is there a telephone number listed on the back of the card (for balance inquiries, etc.)? Try calling that number to see if you can add money that way.

Good idea, DUH!!! Guess I should have paused and thought of that! But still cant get my DD any more Disney Dollars!

I don't think you can add to it by phone but what you can do is wait until you get to WDW and than add money to card.

Or you could just put the money aside and buy another card online before you go
