Cant get into ohana!!

Just keep trying!! Multiple times a day, online, call. More than once i've been able to get last minute (from months before, to days before) Ohana dinner ressie's!! Don't give up!! Good luck! Oh, and stalk the cancelled ressie's for the month of your trip Thread, i've had luck there too!

I've seen a lot of people say to start checking multiple times a day when the cancellation time for your dates arrives. All the people who made trip reservations they can't keep will also be cancelling their dining reservations.

Looks like we're trying for the same week. I've been trying online and calling several times a day, every day. Hoping that things might open up at the 45 day mark when trips need to be paid off and people decide to cancel.

I didnt even kno there was a cancel fourm on here! Thank u. I havent called i always check online 1500 times a day lol....i did get a res for 915 PM on day i didnt want but we will take what we can get

I keep bumping the August cancellation thread hoping that someone will see it and post what they are canceling before they actually do.

A 9:50 opening popped up last night but that would never work for us. My 4 year old is ready for, if not already in bed by that time.

We've had our best luck w/'Ohana about 2 weeks from our check in date. I also know that people still have luck showing up before they open for dinner and trying to be one of the first stand bys w/o an ADR. Just keep trying! When we went last August, I had booked 'Ohana just after our 180 mark, but I managed to upgrade our ADR time in June or July from 9:40p to 8:15p. Good luck!!!

Check at weird hours of the night as well. If you have a teenager, make them check at midnight. Also, between 4-6 am has a surprisingly large amount of open ressies. Also, if all else fails, check at the concierge when you check in! I used to find folks a whole host of rare ressies last minute when I worked in resorts!

Unfortunately, I'm having difficulty getting 'Ohana reservations as well. I've tried 1-4 people for all dinner hours on all possible days of my trip in mid-August. No luck yet! If I still can't get anything, I might still try to see what I can get once I actually arrive in Disney World.

I just wanted to say that 'Ohana offers some very nice views of Wishes.

When I went in 2009, all I could get was a 9:30 PM reservation. I really wanted to try out this restaurant, so I took it. I didn't realize its location in comparison to MK and I was pleasantly surprised that we got a stellar view of Wishes with the music piped right in!

I was back a month ago and we loved the place so much, we tried to book it again. We booked our trip late (<90 days before departure), and I snagged a 9:50 PM reservation. Again, we got a great view of Wishes.

Moral of the story: In my opinion, 9:40 PM to 8:15 PM would not be viewed as an upgrade because there would be no Wishes going on. Don't be dismayed if you can only get a late reservation at 'Ohana - seeing the fireworks from there is a very cool experience and I'm glad I accidentally happened upon it a couple of years ago.

Last Tuesday I started this process for 'Ohana in Sept. the only time they had was a 9:30. I booked it but I was determined to find an earlier time. I was constantly checking the website for cancellations, it paid off last night. I booked a 6:35! So keep trying and move fast when the time comes available!

Keep checking everyone! I was finally able to snag a 7:05 ADR for 5 on 8/23. I'm about to cancel a 6:45 for 3 on 8/22 if anyone would like to coordinate. I'm also going to post this on the August cancellation thread.

Yay! I found a 5:15 reservation for 3 on 8/22. There were also times for ~6 and 8:30ish, if anyone is interested.

Thank you to the poster who said check between 4-6 am. I have been checking at 6 with no luck. I was awake this morning and checked before 5 and guess what - I now have a reservation!
