Can't get AP discount less then 60 days out?

This was just told to DH as I type this from a CM. We want to go on a last minute trip in mid November and she said you can't book an AP discount online or with a CM that soon out. Is this true? I am so bummed!

The AP discount has been replaced (all indications are that replacement may be permanent) with the Best Rate Program - BRP. You can only book BRP on-line and all ressies must be booked at least 60 days in advance. You also have to put down a non-refundable one night deposit.

I'm sorry that policy really stinks for the loyal AP members. I have always made a nonscheduled trip along with my 3 scheduled visits to WDW usually in January and needed those AP discounts. After 4 yrs, sorry to say I will not be renewing my AP!!!!!!!! Goodbye Mickey and Minnie, we'll miss you!!!!!!!

Yep its true. 60+ days out as it stands right now. Who knows if things will change but that is the way the ball bounces right now.
