I was wondering if it would be better to go there in November, or June. I'm sure it's hotter in June, but how hot? Is it warm in November? I don't know why the TV ranch threads aren't coming up as I know there were several of them previously....
Thanks

Anyone with experience on this?

I took my Godchild to Tanque Verde last June.
The day we arrived it was 106 degrees F! We rode for 2 hours that afternoon - it was really hot. The early morning rides are great but the afternoon rides were a bit uncomfortable.
I'd do it again. though. The experience was wonderful!

:scared1: OH, NO! 106?! My kids melt in the Florida heat in the summer! I don't think they'll make it through that!!! :crazy2:

Thinking of going in Nov. 05 or 06 instead... does anyone know if they will pick you up at the airport, or do you have to rent a car to get to the resort? I know there are some DVCers who have gone here...
Thanks.

We went in July 03 and it was great. Temp ranged from 102 to 108 but in my opinion did not feel has hot as an East Coast 95 degree day.. Best part was that the place can handle bout 70 families. There were no more than 10 at anytime when we were there. Practically had private riding lessions the whole week.

I had a wonderful trip report written by one of the timeshare brokers I believe her name was ********. I can't find it at the moment and hope I still have it someplace. I will continue to look for it. I hope it didn't get lost or cleaned up when DH installed the new computer. If I do, I will send a copy to you. It was very well written.

It was posted on here a couple years back and I kept it because Tanque Verde on my list of places to visit.

Thanks cgcw. Her name is blocked on your pm as well. That's okay, because I think I remember it and I'll google it and see what I can come up with. I remember that trip report and I think it answered a bunch of questions!

Denise,
We were picked up at the airport. I was told that if we stayed 4 or more days transportation was complementary, otherwise, there is a charge. We stayed at an airport hotel in Tucson the night we arrived, and called right after breakfast. They were in the area because of a dropoff and were able to pick us up within an hour. The service is absolutely wonderful. They are very accommodating. You are welcome to pm me or email me with any specific questions you might have.
You will love it!
