cant do my ticker :(

hi im having trouble doing my ticker!
i cant remember how to set my ticker up into my signature,i have my old one set up but i cannot work out or remember how i did it? ive gone to the ticker site and done my ticker i just cant move on from that step

any help really appreciated x

if you did your ticker on DIS or mickeypath, copy the whole text in the "
PseudoHTML, UBBCode™ or BBCode " box once you're done creating your ticker

paste that text in : User CP / Edit Signature

preview if needed then submit

You are using the wrong text, you are using the one in the 1st box titled "HTML used for web, email and forums that allow HTML."
You need to use the one chmurf pointed you to "PseudoHTML, UBBCode™ or BBCode
Used on many message boards that don't allow HTML. "

In your signature I can see the line of text beginning < a......

It won't work starting with < a........
It has to be the link [url..... but all the other removed.
Try changing to that and try again, see what I can see then.

woohoo!!!! FINALLY thanks for all your help it seems that when i was copy and pasting it was changing it from the URL thing to the <a ??? glad its sorted i was thinking i would be going away without getting a ticker

Where do I edit my signature? I have an old ticker I created 2 years ago that automatically shows up, but I can't for the life of me remember where I created the signature! I have a new ticker I want to add, but can't figure out where...

Oh no. I had to try all sorts lol, we edited the URL bit i think? as some of the links would not work on here,
Dont give up it took me ages!


I just want to be able to plan another trip so i can have another ticker

Try replacing both instances of link with url and remove noborder, so just

I know what went wrong for me now, when ever I copy and pasted the URL would auto change to <a something do then I deleted the <a bit and typed in URL try that
