can't decide which hotel!

Hello All!

We are going to Flordia in Dec. and we are unsure as to which hotel to choose. We have heard lots of good things about both the CRB and Port Orleans...........any one want to give us a clue?

If you had a choice for your first trip, what would you choose?

Well that depends, do you want Deluxe, Moderate, or value?

Disnee Dad Says.................................Stayed at CBR, nice but a little isolated. I would go for Dixie Landings, as the best bet for a moderate. It is now known as Port Orleans Riverside.
I would ask for a mansion room, the grounds are great, and really quiet for a place of this size. It also has a boat straight to DD for easy shopping and nightlife.

It all comes down to what theming you like. We have stayed at POR and think it is beautiful and the pool is great. But we love CBR and return there time after time. I like the tropical island theme. The beaches are great with the hammocks. The walk around the lake is beautiful. You can't go wrong with either resort.

M first trip, which had me hooked was at the Yacht and Beach club. I loved it there. That trip got me hooked! Although I haven't been back to that hotel since my first trip was just me and a friend, we go every year and stay at the FW cabons. How many people are going with you? Most hotels don't accomodate more than 4 people to a room.

The first onsite Disney resort I stayed at was CBR. I love it! The theming is great, landscaping is beautiful, fun atmosphere, bright, pools, beaches, bright clean rooms, boating and biking activities and it's relaxing.

Since you are going in December, the holiday season, which resort theme would most appeal to you during the season?

We loved POR so much! We didn't love CBR as much. The POR has a more victorian theme in the mansion section and the CBR is tropical.

Can you split you stay between CBR and PO?
