Can't decide, Western or Eastern cruise?

Anybody want to talk about or have photos of there Eastern or Western cruise experience? If you been on both which one did you prefer? My family and I can not decided which one to choose. This would be our first cruise.

It's really a win/win decision. Especially for your first cruise. Pick a date that's good for you and enjoy. You can't go wrong either way.

Do like us... choose one to fit your schedule - we did the Western. Then rebook on board for the other! Can wait for our Eastern!

We liked the Western slightly better. The Eastern is wonderful too. The Eastern offers 1 more sea day than the western. I would have to agree though you cannot go wrong with either choice.

We are Eastern fans! St.Thomas and St. John are amazing!! We love the extra sea day too.

Since we live in South Florida DH and I have been to Key West a number of times. In my opinion it is not a family friendly place, I have no desire to take my kids there.

All that said..you will be happy where ever you go and you have a reason to book a second cruise so you can compare the two.

We have taken the kids on the Eastern twice and just the adults did the Western. I plan to rebook on board in a couple of weeks for our entire family and will choose the Eastern. In my personal opinion it is better for kids. BTW- I LOVED the Western but found it more adult friendly and I LOVED the Eastern with the kids. You can't go wrong either way.

Just do back-to-back 7 nights. That way there is no decision-making.
Actually, we let our schedule decide. Pick the date, and that's where you go.

We wanted to do the Eastern b/c my cousin went to St. Thomas for her honeymoon and her photos were beautiful. But, the week we wanted to go in Dec. was for the Western. We plan to re-book onboard, so hopefully we'll get the Eastern next time.

Thanks for the tips about Key West. Maybe we'll just stay on the ship that day.
