Here are the four............
Macalren Techno XT or XLR
Baby Jogger City Mini
Zooper Twist
Joovy Kooper

I already have the Maclaren Volo that we used our last Disney trip for my then 2 year old. I would like something light which reclines all the way. I am due in Oct and we are headed to Disney in Dec. Any help is much appreciated. I really can not decide. I guess I lean towards the Maclaren bc I already have one but the rest of these get pretty good reviews as well. TIA

I bought a Joovy Kooper for our trip last Sept. We LOVE it!! The sunshade is huge!! It reclines great, and there are mesh cup holders on the inside of the seat for the kids.

We have the Zooper twist and love it. we have taken it twice to disney. it folds very similar to the mcclaren, really big canopy, comes with the rain cover, recline is great, taller handles. Another good thing is there are not many of them at disney so there was not a problem finding it in the see of strollers.

Thanks for relies and input. Finding that perfect stroller is difficult........to many options.

Baby Jogger, super easy to fold, steers on a dime, adjustable height for handle (dh is 6'1 and I am 5'3") both of us can be comfortable. Have had Maclarens, Combi and Peg perego....Baby Jogger was the BEST.

i took a really long time deciding on a stroller when DD#3 was coming - I decided on the BJ City Elite - little diff from the mini due to wheel size, adjustable handle and add-on capabilities (ie - can add toddler jump seat & shade- which was a reason I got it)
I am partial to the Baby Joggers -easy fold, lightweight, great steering.

If I may - being that it isn't on your list and provided you aren't looking just for a side-by-side (I don't know what the others are) and depending on the age and size of your children- And no, I am not a Graco salesperson :)
we are at the Disney parks every 2-3 weeks and we have not had a visit there yet where we don't get at least one question or compliment on our stroller by another parent. We bought the Graco Quattro Tour Duo for our infant (now 8 months) and toddler (amost 4).
It folds with one hand into a pretty easy to manage size and is relatively light considering it's a double - good for those tram rides. I am able to fold it and put it in my mini-van with 1 hand while I hold my daughter in the other hand...It also has nice size shades, 3 position recline on the front seat and full recline on the back. It can even hold 2 Graco car seats. Front seat can allows for either the included bar (used for accomodating a car seat) or also included snack and cup holder and back seat has 2 cup holders. There is a pouch and 2 cup holders on the handle bar as well as tons of storage in baskets underneath (which works out nicely for ponchos, a small cooler, a diaper bag and shopping bags - and yes, we have fit all of that down there before).
Like I said - we get a LOT of compliments on it everytime we are at the parks and my other mom friends love it when we go for our morning walks as well when we take turns pushing it for the extra workout!
OH and it steers easily with 1 hand - turning on a dime. I don't know the prices of the others, but mine was only $249.99 at Babies R Us and sometimes you can find the out of season colors on sale for about $50 off or so.

We had doubles, but we had a Maclaren Twin Techno and sold it and now have a Baby Jogger. I LOVE my BJ and couldn't stand the Mac. The kids complained that the Mac wasn't comfy and it was so much harder to push.

Mom of 4 here ( I REALLY need to change my username!!)

I can't say enough about how awesome the Joovy Kooper is! I think I have finally found my dream stroller! :cloud9:

I've had Mac's, Peg's, Graco's, Joggers, etc... and this stroller beats them all! Pushes well regardless of size of child. Folds up small and super easy.

This is definitely the last stroller purchase I will ever make! :thumbsup2

I think you're looking for a single not a double correct? I'd try to test drive some if I were you, I've runt hru a lot of strollers and the Macs are great but the City Mini may be better for your needs I like the sun shade better. The Kooper is really cute tho.

We have the joovy kooper and love it. It reclines, the shade is the best, folds up nicely, it's light, my kids love the pockets to hold toys, the basket underneath is a nice size and it will really grow with your child- it will hold up to 55 pounds. My dd4 is very tall and she is very comfy in their.

Thanks for all the input. A single stroller is what I am after. I thought for Disney we would just bring 2 single strollers. My son will be 4 and I am sure he will need to sit at some point so that is where the Maclaren Volo will come in. I like the way the Joovy Kooper looks but I just saw that it says it is suited for 6 months and up. I really need it from newborn on up. I like the city mini. The canopy is great. The zooper twist and the maclaren techno look alike to me. I need to find a store that carries them all so I can try them..........:confused3

Oh yeah, the FOLD on the Citi Mini is actually the best feature of all. I hate the way most umbrella stroller fold, so the City Mini fold is a huge deal to me. you can see a video of the folding process on the baby Jogger site. It is fabulous. It might be hard to find all four of your stroller options in a store, let alone the same store where you can see them at the same time.

I've also had a lot of strollers ;)

I really do LOVE my BJCM, however, my kids, get really fussy in it, because it reclines back so far. Have you considered anything that has a front tray? My kids do SO MUCH better being able to sit up and hang on to the bar in front, plus it is great for snacks. I know a lot of people don't like them, but we LOVE our Peg Perego Aria. I also have a Combi that has been to Disney many times. It would be great if you could try out some strollers.

I realize you wont need the tray for your little one this trip, but it's something to consider for the future. :)

I also have a Kooper. Last year we took our Buggster but we are taking the Kooper this year because it takes up less room and is a bit lighter plus the sunshade is very big. Nice padded handles, nice recline, decent basket underneath. We attached the Baby Jogger Liquid Holster to it for our drinks. That was the only one that I could find that would fit since the frame tubes are oblong rather than round. I didn't like the feel of the handle on the BJCM and while it is super easy to fold, it folds in half and I didn't want that type.

I had a Zooper and LOVED it. I'm tall (5'9") and all legs to I needed pretty tall handles. It was the only one I was actually comfortable pushing.

I used a Techno XT from birth to age 5 with my son. That stroller took a beating and flew all over the place and lived through various Disney World trips. Absolutely loved it. We live in an area where we walk as our primary transportation and that thing had soooo many miles on it. We also had a BOB jogging stroller, but the Mac was the workhorse. It's now living on with my friends little boy and she's been using it for two years with him. I can't say enough about how much I loved that stroller. :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the insight on these strollers. I think this weekend I am going to head over to babiesrus and see what I can test out there.
