I can get BC concierge for $379/night with an AP discount or a standard BC room for $227. I am going to be there with 4 teenagers so I thought it would be convenient to have snacks readily available but I'm having a hard time justifying the price difference which for 3 nights is $455.

We'll also be at Poly GVC for 3 nights but the price difference is "only" $100/night and I feel sure that is worth it.

Any thoughts are welcome. How easy is it to grab a quick breakfast at the BC, if we do take the standard room?

Hi sarha!

You have to consider this with concierge....will you be at parks all day? Do you plan on being at the resort during meal times? If not...I think you can really LOAD on snacks for less than $455.00 and have them delivered right to your hotel room from the local stores. However, if you plan on eating the at least one meal there (breakfast or dinner) it might be worth it especially with 4 teenagers.

You have to weigh out the differences? Call the reservationist and they can tell you what the concierge lounges have to offer with meals and the times they provide them to give you a better idea!

Beaches and Cream has a cold breakfast with rolls, cereal, juice, etc and you could probably feed all 4 for around $25-30 each day. If you are at the parks all day you would miss most of the snack stuff, but at dinnertime you may enjoy the hor dourves, unless you like to eat dinner at the parks. After the parks close there would still be having dessert, and if they were still hungry the cookies, etc would be nice, but you can also get a treat at the bakery in France and bring it back to the room, or go to beaches and cream for dessert ice cream and avoid concierge altogether.

Hmmm....even with teenagers (I have a couple of my own, so I know how much they can eat!) it doesn't sound like BC concierge would be worth it. Especially since you can grab a quick bite right there at BeachesnCream for a lot less. I think I'd go with the standard room at BC.

I think you're right about getting your money's worth out of Poly concierge though; four teenagers will definitely be able to put away enough to justify $100/night extra!

star2500, MermaidsMom and Kaycee: Thanks for answering my plea!
I think I will switch to BC standard because the price difference is astronomical. The kids would have to sit in the concierge lounge all day eating to justify it. I'm already feeling guilty just thinking of spending that much extra.
I am looking forward to Poly GVC though.

Thanks again,
Sarha

Since you are going to save that money, I would buy the snacks ahead of time (cereal, milk -parmalat is great, juice, sodas, water, snakcs, candy, etc) and stick to your guns!!!! Four teenagers can easily nickle and dime $152 out of you in one day at Disney!
