Can't change my BounceBack?

I have a BounceBack for November and want to change the days (basically check in a day later, add a day at the end). I can see that the resort has availability, but when I try to change this, it tells me nothing is available. Do I need to call Disney to do this? I hate to call them... forever on hold.

Bounceback reservations have special rules and dates. The availability for a regular reservation won't always be the same for the bounceback. You'll probably have to call to make the change you want.
 
Do you have the ability to modify your reservation online and you see availability, or you are just checking regular availability? I’d call and ask.

If I try to make a new, regular reservation, there's no problem. When I try to modify my existing Bounceback, it says there is no availability. Maybe the number of rooms are limited? Maybe if I call they can change this for me (or wait and keep checking, as peoples' plans change).

Yes, then it is just that there are no rooms available under the BB promotion. I had that same issue trying to add a night with my last reservation. You can still try calling as sometimes they can work their magic. One of the times they were able to add the 1 night as a separate reservation for me, but it wouldn’t show up when they modified my current reservation.

It is possible there are no BB rooms available for the new dates. Like all Disney discounts, availability is limited. Have you tried looking at other resorts? Just to check if you can see anything at all?

The other possibility is.. you’re hitting a glitch & not able to make online changes to that reservation. I have a few different BB reservations I made myself online. Two I made last year. I was able to move 1 of them & that trip has already happened. The other 1, I haven’t been able to see availability for months. I have 2 other BBs I made after our trip early this month. I *can* see different resort & dates availability with those. So for some reason, 1 of my reservations has a glitch & I would need to call to make changes to that 1. There have been a few other reports of the same thing happening to other posters.

If you call, the regular CM may not be able to make the changes. But usually, they can get guest services to help. Before Covid, some requests like this got refused. But I haven’t read any reports of people being denied their requested change lately. So definitely call & ask.

Yes. BB promos are limited in availability like all other promos, in my searching quite limited but ymmv. Regular reservation availability means nothing.

@ Leebee -- there was a thread on the Resort Discounts board about this. You try to modify online by changing
dates and resorts and it appears that everything is booked. I highly doubt that every room at All Stars/BB is booked!
I think the modify/change is not working for BB reservations. I have three BB's coming up, and I can't modify any of them.
Super annoying! I don't want to call. I want to play with dates and resorts by myself.
