can't cancel Disney resort on MDE

I have a reservation for POP starting on November 25th that I need to cancel and I don't see that as an option or nor even the option to modify it - I can check in but that is all I can do with it. Is this how it always was - I thought you could modify or cancel online this far out but am I to close? Or is it some kind of glitch?

I think maybe you might be too close. Isn't it up to 30 days you can cancel? What do you have, room only? Or a package? I'm pretty sure someone here knows better than me.

I have a room only. I thought you could cancel up to 5 days even online but maybe if within 30 days you have to call. Thanks for the reply!

With room only you can cancel within days. I’ve had some reservations that I can modify/cancel online and some that I can’t with no rhyme or reason. I can’t even see my reservations online and haven’t been able to for days. The system has been very glitchy, I think you’ll just have to call.

I have modified a reservation before online, but don't even have that option this time. I've also cancelled online before but can't remember the time frame. Sounds like a probable glitch. My plans haven't shown up either much on the site when looking the last few days.

Yeah you got it right must call to cancel and if you booked your "room only" reservation online then you must cancel 6 days out otherwise its 5 days out

I canceled a room only reservation online about a month ago. So sometimes it does work. Not sure why.

I had that same issue last time I cancelled one online. I think eventually under my plans, if I scrolled down a bit, it lists the resort reservation under each day and for one of the later days of the trip there was a cancel link.

That worked! I thought I had scrolled down to look at each day's plans earlier and didn't see those options, but this time I did so not sure if I was just not being observant or not before. Thanks! That saved me a call!
 
I just checked my reservation on MDE on the Microsoft Edge browser and fortunately it showed everything correctly. I guess it is just the luck of the moment, no set system as to when its down or up.
