Can't book a room--Is something wrong with website?

Yes, I know it's Disney, so there's usually something wrong with the website, but... I got my Oogie Boogie tickets and now I'm trying to book my room. I it shows me available rooms, I pick one, but then when I get through the process my cart is empty, then when I try again, NO rooms anywhere are available (on property, good neighbor, nothing). What is the problem? Same happens even if I try other dates. Tried different browsers, on computer vs phone. Always the same thing happens. Any thoughts? Guess I'll need to call, but I hate to call.

Just tried to get a room as a test and got a system error so there does appear to be a system wide issue
 
I also always try an incognito browser when weird things like this happen. Cookies are not your friend…
 

That was happening to me as well. It seems like to me the only rooms available were with vacation packages where you buy tickets as well. I also tried the Chrome browser instead of Safari and that seemed to show rooms available if I remember correctly. I ended up calling Walt Disney Travel Company directly and was able to get a room.
