Can't believe I'm scared

I just signed up for 3 college courses and I'm scared! I feel like I'm too old for school but I really need to update my education! All the courses have to do with accounting. Wish me luck!!

I'm sure you'll do great! Going back to school is always a big adjustment, but I love the rush I get when I've earned an A in a class, or on a test. It's great for your self-esteem!

You'll do great. I work at a community college and we have a lot of non-traditional students.

I have a friend who is going back to school to complete her degree and she called me for reassurance that she wouldn't be the only "old" person in her class.

That's great! You should be so happy and proud and you know what at my age of 36 I'd be freaking out about going back to school too!!!! You'll do just great!! Congrats on making the leap!

Lots of luck and good wishes and I want to go back to school next year (I'm 32) and I'm still in the thinking stages. Once I fill out the FAFSA and find out what I'm going to get, I can make final plans. You're right, it's a little scary - but exciting, too!

Congratulations and good luck...I got my Masters in Engineering when I was 32 and my MBA when I was 43...it's never too late
