I just purchased a Canon T2i and need to invest in a couple of good memory cards. What are your faves for the T2i?

I plan to take mostly photos (I'm just an amateur photographer--so far) but would like capability to easily record video too. Can't imagine the T2i's video will be able to completely replace my video camera because we often want video and take photos simultaneously during events.

I have theT1i-I have 3 diff brands-I have 2 4g kingston (came with a camera bag and I needed a couple for a p&s but have had no issues with them) 3 8g Sandisk-I think these are class 6 (doing this from memory)-have had no problems, and last but not least 2 transcend 8g class 10 (got a great deal) that yet again, I have had no issues with. Truthfully, I don't like using over
8g cards-just too much to deal with on a full card and haven't really noticed a difference in speed of the cards.

I have all SanDisk. I have 3 class 6 16GB cards plus a number of class 6 8GB cards.

I'd actually love to hear other thoughts on this as I'm thinking of adding one more card before our December trip. I'm thinking of adding a 32GB card and just want to be sure I won't have any trouble with it. I shoot RAW and at close to 25 MB per RAW photo, I think 16 is the minimum I want to use.

I have an 8gb and 16gb Sandisk for my T2i. I love them both. I will say though when I went on my first long trip with them (8 days at WDW in May) I did NOT feel like that was enough memory for me. It's fine day to day cause I dump the photos pretty quickly, but on a long trip like that I had already almost gone through the 8 gb at the end of day two. Forget about videos. I had to be conservative with my space so I concentrated on photos instead. It would have been nice to have lots of space.

That's me though. I'm a newbie and find I need alot of trial and error before I can get the right shot and don't like spending time weeding through the bad shots while I'm out. I'd personally rather have a 32gb too as well just to be safe.

I use the rebel xsi, but I have several 8g San Disk Extreme III. These process a little faster which is useful, especially with large raw files. You can find good deals on amazon.
