Canon Power Shot S100

I need to buy a new point and shoot camera and I was wondering if anyone has used the Canon Power Shot S100. We are going to Disney World in August and I would like a nice point and shoot camera. I would not be into the fancier DSLR's, I don't think I would every be able to work them and I want something light carry around. Thanks.

I have the previous model,the S95.

I like the small size, option to shoot RAW, and decent performance in lowlight conditions. For example, you can get good food photos if you're into that type of thing.

Another nice thing about the S100 or similar cameras - while they are great in Auto mode, they have options equivalent to many DSLRs, if you ever what to experiment with different settings.

Second the idea to check out POTN, and dpreview is another review/forum site to check.

I actually bought the S100 and it's predecessor, the S95 at around the same time and did a bunch of side-by-side comparison shots. I ended up keeping the S95 because I liked the photo quality better. Others might come to a different conclusion, but that was how it ended up for me.

I currently have the Canon EOS 7D, Powershot S95, Powershot S100, and Powershot G1-X. I love them all, but find the S100 to be my "go to" camera. Check out the reviews on B and H Photo, and Adorama. Also look at the S100 group on Flickr.
