We just bought a Canon i9100 photo printer that prints up to 13" x 19" and I am so excited to start using it!!! I used it yesterday for the first time and I LOVE IT!!!! I printed off a test photo and it is absolutely amazing! You can't tell the difference between the print I did and one done at a photo lab! I am so impressed with the results I am going to print all my photos on it now.

In my chronological album, I caught up to where we bought our digital camera (April 2003) and I didn't have any more printed photos to scrap, so we started talking about getting a new printer and hubby suggested we get the wide format for my scrapbooking.

He also bought me Photoshop 8 for Christmas and a the "Classroom in a book" for it so I am also excited to be learning new stuff about photoshop, since my knowledge was somewhat limited before.

It was a tad expensive $699 Cdn but I am sure it will pay for itself in no time. I counted all the photos I had wanted to print just from our recent 3 week vacation and it would have cost $225 just to get those printed so, I am sure this will work out great.

Also, the best thing about it is, (other than the size) is that it comes with 6 different color cartridges. So you only have to refill the colors that you use, no waste!

I just got back from my LSS and got some new supplies so I am going to do some scrapping tomorrow!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I am absolutely green with envy! Congratulations on your new "toy".

I love Canon printers, especially because of the individual ink tanks. It really does help to save money.

Enjoy!

Holysmokes! That sounds like one great printer! We've been looking at new printers and I haven't seen that one around...I may have to twist DH arm to have a look at that one! LOL

isn't it great! i really enjoy being able to print our own pics. we also have a canon printer, not as high tech as yours, it's the S820 which prints up to 8x10. i would definitely recommend the entire canon line for anyone looking. (their cameras too).
