Cannot reply to threads

Hello

I cannot reply to a thread today in the ipad app. If I do reply to thread I get the reply box but the send button is light blue not dark blue so pressing on it nothing happens. I can quote a reply already posted or start a new thread. Any ideas? Thanks

The quick reply is also greyed out when trying in a browser window rather than the app.

I am having this problem as well and I am on my desktop. I have no reply button, just a quote button (hencewhy I quoted you here )

Same issues here. Can't reply to post using app unless I'm replying and quoting a specific post.

Ok think I figured it out hence my previous post without quoting anything. When you are looking at a thread go to the top of the page and look for the title of the thread, then to the right is a small arrow pointing to the right. Tap the arrow and it takes you to the classic web view of disboards in the same thread and you are able to post replies. Although it seems stupid that I should have to leave the app via a shortcut to just reply to a post. Perhaps an update will rectify the situation, because clearly there are some of us who are having this problem

Well done I am posting using the go to top of app option as a workaround. Well done.

OK, I think I may have a fix (at least this works for me...

When I click on the arrow and select "reply to thread", I double-tap where the cursor is at the top of the page and the word "paste" appears. I can then type and send.
