Candy Cane Inn - Premium Room

Hi!

Has anyone stayed at a premium room at CCI? I am wondering if it is worth the extra? We are a family of 4 with 2 girls - 3 & 6. Although we plan to spend most of our time at DL, a little bigger room, better bed/linen, etc. do sound appealing. Are the premium rooms much better than the deluxe?

I stayed in a deluxe room once. It was a little quieter as the room is all the way in the back and it was nice that they delivered breakfast to our room. The rooms are bigger than the standard rooms and I believe they have DVD players. We didn't feel the extra money was worth it because we spend the entire time in the park and just use the room to sleep.

As I recall the premium room got you better linens, a welcome basket, a dvd player, breakfast delivery and something about checking in early or leaving late maybe. We were supposed to have one once but ended up in a deluxe room instead. They offered to deliver breakfast but we preferred to be given the difference in price , considering we weren't getting the extras of a premium room.

That said I would definitely pay for a deluxe versus a standard room. Even if it was just for the extra closet space! It was nice to have the bigger room and we haven't stayed in a regular room since our first deluxe experience. It definitely gives you more room to move around in and the fridge and micro were handy too.

I have no problem grabbing the tray from our room and going to get breakfast for the family to bring back to the room. Although I'm sure it would be convenient to have it just show up at your door too!
