Flying back from Orlando to Toronto. Am I allowed to bring back candy apples in my carry on? Thanks.

You'll have to declare them and be prepared for them to be thrown away as I don't believe apples are supposed to be allowed. You'll have to declare them whether they're in checked bags or carry on.

This is a tricky one since they don’t absolutely fit the published criteria for packaged foods nor the published criteria for fresh though they are closer to that. So, it will be up to the agents in Toronto. It is absolutely certain that you have to declare them and you do have to be prepared for them to be confiscated by customs.

Depends on the agent. I have brought one back. 50/50 chance. I wouldn't do it again
