I am debating about doing the dinner or not. Can someone tell me how they enjoyed the dinner and the package? Also, how crowded is it to wait for the 5:00 show?

we enjoy doing the package as it makes for a lovely evening out. can't answer about the 5:00 show, but i, too, would like to know. book the package; you will be glad you did.

I don't know if it was because of the holiday but we had a CP package for Fri Nov 28th, we got there about 30minutes before the show and still had to sit pretty far back. There were few if any seats left for people without a package. This was the 6:45 showing and probably the most popular but if you want a seat I'd book a package. If you are planning on dinner at Epcot anyway it isn't too bad and there are choices that are less expensive.

We were there on Sunday, the 30th. Got in line about 5:45 for the 6:45 show. DH & ds went to get dinner and we ate in line. We were about 3/4 of the way back but could still see and hear EVERYTHING! This is a beautiful concert. Enjoy!

This is really jammed this year. I saw people who had purchased the package (over this past weekend) queuing for an hour before hand! What's the point of the package then, besides dinner?

The other queue can be really long. Was doubled back on itself four times last weekend with the primary line reaching to Italy.

SRO at the back is four to six people deep.

So, don't know what to tell you. Buying the package won't necessarily prevent standing on line for an hour, nor will it get you a premium seat.

Thanks for the replies. I bit the bullet and paid for the 19th. I honestly can't believe they still had seating, but we got in. I'm looking forward to it. What a way to start the vacation!
