WE are planning to go to Epcot on a couple days when they are having the candlelight processional but have no interest in going to it since we will have two little ones in tow. Is it best to just plan for breakfast those days and stay away from that area once it starts? How crowded is it? Currently we have dinner plans at 4:40 for Teppan Edo but now we are thinking that may be a bad idea.

We have not found the Candlelight Processional to interfere with touring Epcot. The show is in the theater, the line goes along the walkway but does not interfere with walking. It takes place every night and there are 3 shows, so it is not a huge crowd draw any particular night.

It has never been a problem when we have gone for Christmas. The traffic in that area might be a little heavy right when they open up for guests to find seats but it does not interfere with the crowds from my experience.

The show will have no effect on your Epcot plans.

... unless you wanted to spend a quiet evening sitting in The American Experience outdoor plaza enjoying some hot chocolate...

It's more crowded on weekends. A couple of times during the week when there was not a popular speaker we were able to walk right in close to showtime.
