Candlelight Processional

Do most of you participate in this including the dinner to assure a seat? have you been successful getting a seat without purchasing the dinner package? We do not usually do big meals at night and prefer our biggie to be lunch. Seems silly to waste the $$ on a meal we cannot eat....... If you do the dinner bit, where have you felt you got the best value and meal? Thanks for your input.

We went in Dec/2001 without purchasing the dinner and found decent seats, and it was a very beautiful show to watch. Very festive and it really brought back the true meaning of Christmas to many.

We've done the Candlelight Processional twice now (and we'll be back Dec 6) - we love this show! I think it is definitely worth doing the package so you don't have to worry about if you'll be able to get a seat or not. We usually have a meal in one of the countries anyway - we've eaten at Canada and France and I think it was a good deal. The 15% discount really makes it a great package, at least for my family. We usually do most of our shopping on that day.

We'll be back on Fri, Dec 6 doing the 8:15 show and Illuminations after!! Can't wait!

If you go in the first half of the month and during the week, you shouldn't have a problem getting a standby seat by getting in line 45 minutes before. Weekends are tougher. We did the package in 2000 and are doing it again this year. We are staying at BWV so we can take our leftovers back to the room for lunch the next day. We are going to the 6:45 performance on 12/8 with dinner at 8:00 at LeCellier. We plan on doing our shopping that day to take advantage of the 15% discount, last time we saved over $20.
