How long is the show and is it appropriate for a 23 month old? I have never been so don't know if it's something that would entertain him or how long it would hold his attention. I would hate to get the dining package or wait in line then have to leave after 15 mins. Thanks in advance!

I think it is about and 45 min or so +/-. It is really beautiful, and getting the dining package saves time in line. However, the music can get loud...particularly some horns that they blow time to time in the show (seemed every 10min or so, but I could be wrong) and these are really loud.

So, if you go, save a special snack/drink (maybe even bring a magnadoodle) for your toddler and sit in the middle, as the horns blare from each side. If possible, check out the show before the day you plan - you can see/hear it w/o being seated in the theater (it is an open outdoor theater).

We have done the CP every year now for the past 4 years. Our son was almost two our first time and our daughter has come since she was born. There have been times they got squirmy or we needed to duck out and change a diaper because you know they always wait until the middle of that show to fill up the diapers! Anyway, its always been fine. Once DH took our son out for a few minutes so he would not disturb anyone else. Its a beautiful show and one of my all time favorite things to do at Disney every year. Definitely get the package because it makes for a really nice evening.
Enjoy!
