When I talked with the supervisor on Sat am, she read the email and it said 100% that ADRs could NOT be turned into the CP.

I wrote an email to Guest Communications. I'll post what they say in their response. Hopefully, it will be something worthwhile. I'm annoyed about all these different answers!

Please do. Obviously, the CM answering the phones do not have accurate information. I am trying to get a package for Christmas Day. If I have to wait until mid to late August, the restaurants will probably be booked with regular ADR before the packages are even released. I told the CM that I didn't care who the narrator ends up being. I just want to make sure that we get this for Christmas. We will also be a party of two which means there aren't as many tables available anyway.

If they don't open these until August, what are the chances of my restaurant still having openings for Christmas Day left?

I'd imagine they would hold tables back for the Candlelight Processional... That's the only thing I can think of...???

I am such a planner, I hate not knowing what's going on. My 180 window opens up on Friday. For now I will just make an ADR so I will at least have a place to eat. If I get the CPP in Aug. I will cancel the ADR I make this week and concider myself lucky. I just don't know what else to do.

ok so i just called. got a man who said he hasn't heard with certainty that it will be available this early, however, he did say that he has the DATES of the CP...and th ey will start on November 24th and he suggested calling 180 days prior to that date, which is next sunday, the 28th. and he reconfirmed that the dates started November 24th and that he currently had no ability to book it for that day now so maybe they can't until NEXT week?

That's what I plan to do. Will make all my adr's at EPCOT at the end of this week. This way I know I have where I want to dine, when I want to dine. When the CP packages open up, will try and book everything first and if it's where and when I am looking for, will then cancel the original ADR. Where this is a solo trip, it's hard at some restaurants to get dining for 1, and even harder with the CP packages.

at least its something, right? and if they know the date, then they must have received SOMETHING about it.

Luckily, I can make my ADR's shortly after you, starting on June 5th. With any luck they will have the CP available then. :O)

If not, we are going to book our dinner times when it suits us, and then if we can change it to a CP in august, great! and if not, so be it. at least we will be dining where we want which is everyones priority. :O)

we are splitting up tho, one night will be mum, sil and brother, one night will be just me and my dh. (on that night mum watches the kids ) so party of 3 and a party of 2 yikes!

I am due to make ADR's next Wednesday, but don't know what to do about our planned Candlelight Processional night. Are you going to book an ordinary ADR then cancel it if you can get the package at a later date or just not book anything and wait and see? We are on the DP.

I made one last call today around 1:00 p.m., and this is what I was finally told to do. The CM was very nice. She keep trying different things to try to get accurate information for me. She said all of her supervisors were saying they would not be available until August. I asked her if they would be hold some back for the packages. She said that so far no one has told her that they would be. She told me to go ahead and make my ADR. If I don't get a package, I can just go eat and stand in line with everyone else. If I do get a package, I can cancel my ADR.

Thanks gssmks for calling today and trying to get some better answers. I have all my adr's planned out for my trip and when my 180 window opens (5/28 for 11/24) will make them. If I can get the package I am looking for, then I'll wait until everything is set, then cancel the original adr. Better safe than sorry, especially at EPCOT during the holidays.

Yes!!! I will try not to smile TOO large at you on Sunday morning as we are on our way to Chef Mickey for our welcome breakfast, while you are on your way to the airport. Especially since only 6 days after that it will be US leaving.

I am so excited, I have stayed at what was formerly called Dixie Landings, so I am looking forward to the change of scenery (and resort size) of POFQ!

we are going to book an ordinary ADR and cancel if we can get the package. if we can't, then at least we are still eating where we wanted. the CP was just going to be a nice bonus that I didn't know about until i started 'dis'ing!

I'm with you Terk-1 I will be doing the same thing Sunday Morning also. 180 day mark May 28th. Last of the planning stage except for hoping to hook up with some nice family with a Wishes Preimium Cruise if they will have me.

Maybe there will be more information available at the first 180 day mark too which would be nice. I didn't get any new information today either. The last CM that I talked to on Sunday said to check daily since they were being loaded in the computer, but who knows what that means.
