Can anyone confirm what time they start handing out the wristbands and where you line up for this?
I would also be interested to know how quickly they run out, on average, if anyone has an idea on that.

My personal experience:
Was there this past Sunday for NPH. Got to France rope drop at 10:45am, they let us in at 11am and walked to the standby line (right of the theater it's clearly marked) Were the first ones there, the line quickly grew to about 50 people by noon.
CM came around 1:15pm saying that they would hand out the wristbands at 1:30pm and that your whole party needed to be there. At 1:30pm the asked who wanted a wristband and put them on you. Some people decided to stay in the standby line. I was told that I could show up at 4:50pm for the 5pm show and get a seat.
We just hung around the American pavilion and at 3:30pm got in line for the wristband (left of the little brick blgd) they let us in at 4:35pm for the 5 pm show.
Now I don't know exactly how many wristbands they give out per show but I heard that it's about 100. Also they are usually give them out at 1:30pm but I think it depends on how long the standby line is
