Candlelight Processional - Where Are You Planning To Eat?

I have been on hold for 10 minutes, but I dont hear the normal Disney tunes. But I AM NOT hanging up and starting over! Has anyone here ever been on a silent hold?

Don't hang up! I was silent for quite awhile but suddenly got music.

Have been on hold for almost 30 minutes.

What's with the non-availability of restaurants right away? Haven't run into this before?

I'm holding right now, the said about a 45 minute wait....but no music in background. Cell phone shows I'm still connected, but it has me a little worried. I got a lot of busy signals, and "all circuits are busy" messages before I got through. We are trying for Le Cellier, Dec12th dinner.

Come on everybody, hang up so I can make my ressies!

Le Cellier is lunch only on the CP package - they're not offering dinner. If you want dinner hours you may have to choose another restaurant.

I tried the dining line and also got all circuits are busy so I called dvc and was able to book Biergarten for Friday, December 23rd for dinner.

I was hold for 45 minutes after being told "You have an expected wait time of more than 15 minutes", lol.
But got Le Cellier & Chefs de France, both my 1st choices!!

Now, to wait for the narrator for December 17 to be announced.

I started calling at 7am and just got a busy signal or the all circuits are busy message. Sooo frustrating! Got put in the hold area around 7:15am. Said the wait would be over 30 minutes. Put my cell on speaker - showered, blew dry my hair, got ready for work, all while listening to Disney music. 45 minutes later I finally got through! We picked Via Napoli for lunch (dinner prices are pretty ridiculous) and we're scheduled to see Neil Patrick Harris!! YESSS!! Took forever, but happy it's done.

Finally got through! I wonder why Le Cellier is only doing lunch? . Beirgarten is up and running now....got ressies for 5:40 and 8:15 CP.

Oh yeah, we are seeing NPH too!!!!

I *think* Le Cellier is only doing lunch packages because they are now a Signature Dining restaurant for dinner, which requires 2 TS credits already, or is more expensive, without the CP package. So, it's already expensive enough without trying to figure out how to add for the CP packages for dinner.

I called at 7 (6 my time) and got straight through. Got the message that my wait would be over 60 minutes - no thank you! I hung up. I don't work in the summers (teacher) so I wanted to go back to sleep. I tried when DH got up for work and couldn't get through. I finally called at 11:15 and got exactly what we wanted - no reason to have set the alarm. We are eating at Teppan Edo for lunch and seeing the 5:00 show - Susan Lucci. It should be fun!!

Such an interesting day ---Hope everyone gets the restaurant of their choice ! After many. many years of doing the Candlelight Processional and Dinner we have decided to skip the paid Dinner and seating and just use the standby line ! The price and choices of the Dinner menu has influenced our decision but we will still enjoy the Processional from the back of the theater.
We have enjoyed this Christmas treat (and we used to get 10% off merchandise on the night of our processional) and look forward to it again this year BUT just in a different way !
If you have never experienced this magical Processional--please attend and take in this Christmas Story !

Forgot to wake up at 5:45 to call in at 6. Got Busy, forgot and didn't call in till 8 central. Only had a 20 minute wait and got Restaurant Marrakesh for the middle show on the 2nd with Whoopi! Marrakesh sounds like an unusual choice but it is what the family wanted. Now - I can't wait to tell them.

We will skip the dining package also. Too expensive since we are paying OOP. we are going Dec. 8 to hear Isabelle R. so I'm hoping to get in the standby line. My parents may be with us so dinner will be expensive for 6.

I called at 7:05 am. Took over 50 phone calls just to get through. Think I finally got through sometime after 7:20. Was on hold for 45 minutes. Got exactly what we wanted

Whole process was just about 1 hour total. I also asked the cm to cancel the regular adr we had for that day for Kona dinner.

My Niece called me 8.30am to find out if I booked our CP lunch... I had completely forgotten and was on the road getting baby formular ..called at 9.00am 20 minute wait couldn't get San Angels but did manage to get 2.00pm @ Tutto Italia for 5.00 show on Dec 23 for our party of 11

Whew! Guess I'm getting too old for all this excitement! We have a family group of 20 and trying to book the Processional Dinner Package this morning was a hoot!

We had 3 people trying and 2 of us couldn't get anything but busy signals. Fortunately, middle daughter got through right at 7:00 a.m. after doing the "redial" thing from 6:45 a.m on...

Our first choice was Teppan Edo, but the CM (is that what they are called?) talked her into Via Napoli so we could make one reservation and all sit together. At Teppan Edo, we would have had different seating times and had to sit separately. Via Napoli seems like it will be good food. Fortunately, we all like Pizza!

We're celebrating a birthday that day and were able to arrange a cake, although after reading the good reviews of the Tiramisu and Zeppole di Ricotta (Ricotta cheese fritters, served with whipped cream and chocolate sauce), I may be having more than one dessert....
