This will be our first time - hoping for the 8:15 show and dinner pkg for Dec 19 with Dec 17 as a back-up

If I am on the phone at 7 am should I be able to get 1st choice?

Where are you getting the info that Le Cellier is only for lunch? The info on the website gives a lunch and dinner price.

I was told by a CM on the dining reservation line that we would have to call, it would not be available online. She had pulled it up on her computer screen cause I had asked about Le Cell just being lunch.

But, we all know the issues with asking CMs anything. But I'm pretty sure last year, it was not bookable online, only ovedr the phone.

I'm hoping to get Tutto Italia for the last seating on December 17th. Unfortunately, that is the only day we can do it but I wouldn't mind Chefs de France, Coral Reef or either of the Mexican restaurants as a backup. I won't be able to call until later that morning the ADR's open since I will be working Monday night so wish me luck. I do really want the later seating so it will be dark and the dinner time will be more reasonable.

Thanks! I guess since we can't do Le C'ellier as we are doing a dinner package we will try for Coral Reef as a first choice. We have never been. How do you feel about that restaurant? We were then thinking of Rose and Crown as a second choice and Via Napoli as third choice for 11/25.

We attended the CP in 08 and 09. Both times, we decided to play it safe and booked lunch packages. 9 Dragons in 08 and Biergarten in 09. Both were good, but we seem to like Biergarten more. The cheese cake!!! To die for... And the German sausages were also very good.

I was looking at Biergarten Restaurant: Lunch $ 32.99 / $ 17.99; Dinner $ 50.99 / $ 25.99 for a package and then I went to menu site and found this:

That's a $7 difference for lunch and a $14 for dinner. I understand that with the package you get seating but why the extra $$ for the package? It seems that with the other restaurants the package is the better deal but not with Biergarten. I'm leaning toward dinner since we are doing the Princess breakfast in the am. Thoughts?

Same here. My daughter and I love Mahi Mahi!

We are going to give San Angel Inn a try this year. Every year we keep saying we are going to eat there, but end up not going for various reasons.

On a related note, what advice do you have for booking the CP package? Should I be up and dialing the reservation line 15 minutes before the line opens. As I understand it the CP reservations will be opening up on 26 Jul.

Just hung up with Disney...I tried to get Biergarten for lunch but it's not in the system yet. I booked Nine Dragons just to be safe, she said call back this afternoon for Biergarten. She said it's up to the individual restaurants to get themselves in the system. If I can't get it I guess we'll be having chinese!!

Lucky you. After 10 minutes of hearing "all circuits are busy" I have not been on hold 15 minutes, with an expected wait time of 30 minutes!

I was told the same thing. I booked Marakesh as a back up, but will try later today for Biergarten. She said it could be an hour, 8 hours or 24 hours, lol.

Well, I called late! Started at 7:06 and still haven't gotten through. I'm trying for Marrakesh lunch. It's 4:40 am. I just fed my bottle baby foster kitten and now it's redial, hang up, redial hang up, etc etc.

Same thing happened to me. It was about 40 minutes of dead silence and I thought for sure I was disconnected. Then music came on out of nowhere and I had someone on the line 5 minutes later! Good luck!

Just do you know Le Cellier is only doing lunch so you may want to have backup ready!

I just called back and changed it to Teppan Edo. We've decided to use DDP instead of OOP. The kids will be happy to order appetizers!!! I wish their desserts were a little better, but I'm guessing we won't have any room in our bellies for dessert anyway.
