Candlelight Processional to JBJB Dessert Party

We decided to book the JBJB dessert party. We will be doing it on the same night as the Candlelight Processional.

We will be attending the 5pm CP show and then heading straight to HS for the dessert party.

It says the dessert party begins at 7. Is it best to walk to HS? Would it be silly to call an Uber to get there quicker?

I had thought about the boats, but they just seem too unpredictable.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Will it be doable? (We have never been to HS before. It will be the first time...)

Cp is a 45 show, if you exit through international gateway and the boat is there, take it, if not you can walk to dhs, it's about a 20-25 minute walk.
Taking uber or any other form of transportation requires you to go back to the front of epcot, about a 15 min walk to the front of the park, so I wouldn't do that
In any case, you'll have time for your dessert party
