I'm waiting as well. We've never done this package before so it makes me kind of nervous. Does anyone know if they sell out really quickly? The CM I spoke with when making my ADR's said check back mid to late August, but I'm sure I'll hear about it on the Dis first!

Unfortunately, they do not allow you to do this. They allow so many tables for the packages and are not interchangeable ressies.

Also, from what I've heard from a reservation CM on another board, when you do this, it decreases the amount of available seats for the CP package.

It depends on when you want to go. I've heard Christmas Eve sells out fast. But if you are going earlier in the month, they are usually still available the day of the performance, although you may not have your first choice of restaurants.

We are trying for Garden Grill on December 28th so hopefully I will be okay. I guess it is kind of like waiting for AP rates. If lots of people book rooms planning to convert them to AP rates when they come out then they are going to think they need to discount less rooms. Similarly, if lots of people make ADR's without the package they will think they have less tables left to sell with the package.
