Candlelight Processional Dinning Package question

I've been reading about the Candlelight Processional dinning packages for our Christmas 2015 trip. My question is whether the amount you spend on the dinning package dictates how good your seat is? I've seen the package prices for this year range from $37 for lunch at Biergarten to $75 for dinner at Teppan Edo. If I go for a more expensive package will I get a better seat?

Also, I see that lunch packages correlate with an earlier showing. Is there any benefit to doing the dinner package at a later showing? Even if the show is the same, does it improve somehow as the night progresses?

Thanks so much for your answers! :goodvibes

The cost of your meal doesn't affect your seat. You will have "Preferred seating". Which is a section just for CP guests. The sooner you get there the better the seat will be. Same show for lunch and dinner.

In my opinion the time did not make a difference....first year we went we did a lunch for one speaker and a dinner for another. I was a bit worried that the 5pm show would be too light to truly appreciate the candle glow....wrong. One of the down sides, in my opinion (most true for first timers) is that the 2nd and 3rd show are still going on when you should be getting into line for the 1st or 2nd show.....so you're going to hear some of the speaker and music while you wait. Not a show stopper, because hearing it again is still wonderful, but I'm glad that our first experience was the 5pm show.....when we stood in line later that week for other speaker at the 8pm show, we heard him speaking and the choir singing and it was kinda of like seeing too many trailers for a beloved movie....you kinda waited for him to say this or that. Again, not a show stopper, but something to consider knowing how you are about wanting to experience things.....me, I like the total surprise.

The meal prices are based on the restaurant and their menu prices and have nothing to do with seating. Once you are finished eating you will be given a voucher......choosing to get in the dining line when it first starts is the best way to get your choice of seats. A hint....front is NOT the best.....about mid way back is better to be able to see the whole of the stage.
