Thinking about making ressies for this but wanted to know if you guys think my boys ages 9 and 11 would like it?? I wasnt sure if kids would like or not. Thanks
I'm no expert since I don't have kids, but I would tend to think that most kids would be bored by it since it's just a choir singing Christmas carols interspersed with a celebrity narrator telling the story of the birth of Christ. Now, don't get me wrong, I personally love it, this is just how I think a kid would tend to view it. On the other hand, if your boys like to go to church for Christmas services, they would probably like it.
I have never done the CP package before..any advice on which tier or restaurant..which seating is better for the CP, the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd show...how long before do i need to line up? We aren't adventerous eaters!! Thanks!
The tiers are just pricing levels, so it's just a matter of what you're comfortable paying, unless you're using the DP, in which case I believe it's 2 TS credits regardless of what tier you choose. Since you're not adventurous eaters, the tier 1 restaurants would probably be your best bet.
When I was deciding on what show to do when I went a few years ago, I found out that for the 2nd show the time frame for booking the meal was between 3:30 and 4:30, which I though was so early that I was sure I'd want a second dinner before the end of the night, which I didn't really want to do. (Although I suppose you could do a late breakfast and consider the CP meal lunch.) The time frame for the 3rd show is more what I would consider dinner time (I believe 5:15-6:15), but my concern there was that I wouldn't have enough time to find a good spot for IllumiNations (the CP package now includes reserved seating for IllumiNations, but I think it's at the opposite end of the WS lagoon, so you'd really have to book to get over there). I therefore decided to go with the 1st showing, and the fact that it was a little cheaper didn't hurt the decision either. Of course, this was just my thought process, you're free to disagree with it.

For instance, I know that a lot of people prefer to do the later shows because they think that it's a better experience after the sun has gone down.
I'd say that if you're doing the package, getting in line 45 minutes to an hour before the show should be fine.
