That sounds like a great idea. For some reason my alarm was sat for 8am but I guess my body is use to getting up a 6am to check cause as soon as I woke up! 6am on the dot!!!

Whoa, 25-30 minute waits! If anyone does get through, could you please ask specifically where the info will be on the website? I am checking under the "Where to Eat" tab and "Dining Events" and wondering how I will know? Will the WDW-DINE number show up in bold like the F! Package or will it say "Accepting Reservations"? I'm relying on this thread more that the WDW website, but since they keep telling us to check the website, I'd just like to know where. TIA & Good luck!

I was able to book Via Napoli on line so I hope everyone isn't waiting on the phone and not realizing they can book it through the website.

that site one day so I keep an eye on it but with my luck I keep an eye on it and it won't post until I'm asleep and I won't call

I also got the 30+ minutes wait time so I hung up.

I just booked Via Napoli online for October and December.

Via Napoli seems to be quirky - I was able to book online about an hour ago, now it's not even listed as an option. So I'd say wait on hold if you can, and just keep trying the website in the meantime.

Would be nice to get some reliable info about the CP package tho!

Probably not, but we haven't heard anything definite for this year. Plus, it seemed like Via Napoli wasn't going to be available online but it was. It might not hurt to get up an hour earlier to try getting a package online once the release date is announced, but I wouldn't get up an hour early every morning to try things out.

That link for the CP packages I posted and seems to be the best bet of where they will put the info. If you click on http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/listing/?sortBy=nG:hasDiningExperienceFacet&fv_222813=on and then click on the CP info, it will take you to the link I posted, if that gives everyone a little more piece of mind as to where it would be posted.

FYI: I was just on WDW site and it is showing Via Napoli booking online right now http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/via-napoli/

I'm really glad they will be posting the info online before making reservations. May also keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as that is where they announced the booking date in advance for the Food & Wine.

If you are on facebook and add the Disney World page I saw an announcement for when the food and wine bookings were going to start. So I am hoping that they will do the same for the CP packages. But I continually check other places just to make sure that I don't miss it since we want to go on Christmas Eve.

Thanks to this, I was able to get Via Napoli. I'm still waiting for the CP announcements. I'm hoping some will get them and switch their ADR's so then I can get Garden Grill I don't want CP....but I'm hoping its what is keeping my GG ressies full

I wish they would come out.. I have such a smattering of ressies elsewhere that may or not work out depending on what night we can do the CP... its amazing how this one night can change my whole schedule around since we can only be there a few days...

Hearing about those 30 minute waits this morning makes me nervous for booking CP...I've never booked a dining event that opened up like this...just the standard 90/180 days out. What do you think the wait times will be like that 1st morning?

Oh my gosh, I hope we don't have to wait that long! That would be about 90 days before the first shows which will be Nov. 26th. You're right, assuming the announcement is made at least 48 hours ahead of when they will accept bookings and if they are by phone only the waits will be horrendous.

I just received a FB notice from Walt Disney that the CP packages will go on sale August 26th!!!
