Candlelight Processional Dinner - Watching & Waiting

So when are your new dates? We are still going the 7th to the 12th and I am hoping for the cp on the 9th as I dont want to change any of my other adrs.
Now we're going the 10th to the 19th. I'm still trying to figure out our schedule, but I think we'll try to do the CLP on the 15th or 17th. Our days will still overlap, so hopefully we'll at least get to say hello. :flower3:

I was also hoping to run into you!! We are stuck with our times now, already changed twice, the only (minor) worry is the Pop Warner... Having a teen with me may reduce the annoyance?? Anyway, it should be much better than the last few times we've been at the busiest times of the whole year!! Will seem like heaven to us!! :cloud9:

Maybe we'll still run into you between the 10th & 13th!! :goodvibes Are you also AKL?

Also - do you guys recommend paying OOP for the CP since we will be over-running our DDP TS anyway with a couple of Character breakfasts and Narcoossee's and Hoop Dee Doo already on the plate to do as 2 credits!

I am having a slight lapse in my Lupus and having to go to the hospital on Thursday... SO the old brain is not working 100% right now!! If any of you veterans could give me your opinion on best way to use our 11 TS per day I would truly value your input!!

Don't know if this has been answered, but it's worth a try...

I saw on another website that you may be charged two of your TS credits for the CLP package; is this true?

That's the way it was in 2009. No info yet for this year, but it is probable.

Good morning, everyone! :)

Didn't even make it to a CM this morning before someone posted packages weren't open yet. The automated system was not liking me today. Grrr. Good thing today wasn't the day! :)

"Not yet and no information"-I appreciate the honesty over the random guessing :rotfl:

We'll be at AKL on the 12th - 19th. I'd love to meet you too. Our dates have stayed the same since first booking; like so many others here, only the CPP remains to be booked.

I'm not a DP expert-but I checked the prices from the menus on this site-a few of my character meals are less $$ than the CP packages-so will probably pay out of pocket for Donald's Breakfast and the Crystal Palace. Hope you feel better:goodvibes

Do you think they will add Via Napoli to the CP package? I'm going to try and get reservations on Friday for my trip next month. If I can't get it, I think I want to try it in December.

Even if Via Napoli is added to the CPP list of restaurants I, personally, don't think that it would be good use of 2 TS credits. If it is added, I would guess that it would be a tier 2 or tier 1 price so paying OOP might make sense. Their menu looks good but in Disney terms I would consider Via Napoli to be a moderate price restaurant.

I agree. We won't be on the dining plan for my December trip. We are only doing the CP package, since we will be going xmas week. I did the CP package last year during xmas week and felt that it was well worth the money. We will also be doing the Hoop Dee Doo as part of my Mom's 50th birthday present. The rest of our meals will be either in our villa or counter service.

However, I am doing the DDP next month with my girlfriends and im super glad the via napoli is a credit. I love trying new restaurants.

The last time I did a CLP pkg, we only had to use one TS credit. I don't think we paid out of pocket. Are they making you do that now for Le Cellier?

I don't think any of these restaurants are worth using up 2 dining plan credits, even with the deluxe dining plan.... imagine if everyone refused to do it and just waited in line..... I'm not doing the CP package if they chage 2TS. I'll just take turns waiting in line (to replenish drinks!) with DW and enjoy each other's company while waiting.

Yup, as of last year all CP Pkg became 2 credits, reguardless of the restaurant. Last year my little sister and I did the Tutto Italia CP Pkg. It was well worth the 2 credits. We lined up in the reserved line 45 minutes before showtime and it was well into Japan. We ended up being seated near the back of theatre. I'm not even sure if the stand by line even got in. I also really enjoyed the reserved illuminations area. We also got there 45 minutes early and ended up right on the railing with a perfect view.

About Via Napoli--

The Grand Floridian concierge planning staff told me they did not think it would be part of the CP packages.

Are there seats in the reserved area, or is it a standing area?

Last year it was a reserved standing area. It was between the two gift shops that you see as you enter the world showcase from future world. We just had to show the CM our badges to enter. Since we had a 3:45pm CP Pkg seating and were starving by 8pm. We arrived at the spot early and sat on a curb by the railing and enjoyed a couple of cinnamon sugar pretzels and lattes.

After speaking with a very friendly CM last night, I decided to start a new strategy to try to find out about CP dining packages. I e-mailed Disney at its contact us link and will every day asking when I can call WDW-DINE to book a reservation since that is what the Disney web site tells me to do. Perhaps if Disney gets bombarded with e-mails on a daily basis, we might find out something?????:santa: All I want is LeCellier on Dec 24th for dinner-- I don't personally care who the narrator is!

Good morning all! :) I'm not sure how many more mornings I can do this, but I know the one day I take a break will be the day packages are released. Press on! :)
