Candlelight Processional Dinner - Watching & Waiting

Called Again today. Same usual answer... "Probably by end of July but keep checking regularly because it could be before that...." I think I will know all the CM's by first name by the time they start booking...

I did see that they are going to be booking the food and wine special events, so maybe after that is done they will start the candelight booking? Makes sense, october events, then nov/december events etc.

Also does anyone know if those who are staying club level and put in their dining requests have priority of getting their cp pkgs choices days/times etc. over anyone who calls the lst day of booking at 7 am etc.

Just talked to a cast member today and was making dining and other reservations, and she indicated that Candlelight Processional would be booking on July 20th. She said that they have most of the narrators booked but she could not indicate what nights they are narrating.

Good luck to all in getting a time that works for you.

Excellent! I hope they do start the 20th! I am just waiting for that last piece of our Christmas Vacation puzzle!

yay!! thanks for posting this..gives me hope that i can get my last ressie squared away by the end of the month!

We're going to Disney 12/10-12/16 and I've booked le cellier every night:thumbsup2 ...just to get the package one night:eek:

Does any one know If I'll be able to convert one of them to the package :confused3

thanks!

this board is great..still waitinf ROFR too:rolleyes1

They won't convert a current reservation to a package reservation. They are holding back reservations specifically for CPP's which is why there isn't as much availability at some times. I asked the CM after I couldn't manage to get a 4 pm Les Chefs de France. I got all the other times/restaurants I wanted, but couldn't get that, even at the 190 day mark!

That being said, I can't imagine it would hurt to have a ressie for the time you want, just in case! We made all our Epcot ressies knowing we might have to change timing a bit.

I hope the CP packages come out soon, like on the 20th... It's driving me nuts we couldn't get reservations at any of the three places we wanted in Epcot. We're going Dec 11-17 and couldn't get a dinner reservation at Le Cellier, Coral Reef, or Garden Grill (The Mrs  Chip n' Dale) anytime during that week :sad2: Our fault for waiting a couple weeks after the 180 mark to decide, but it still is no fun...

If they do open up the reservations on the 20th, what time do they normally open the phone lines?

I would really like to be able to look over the options before I decide what day and what restaurant.

F & W starts booking on July 20th. I find it hard to believe that CP would also start booking the same day.:confused3.Talk about phone madness!!!!

What do you have to book for F&W. We just changed our trip and will be arriving on the last day. Is there something I should try to book? :confused3

Check out this thread. It has a copy of the 2010 booklet, which lists all of the events that require reservations. If you're going to go and wander around, you need no reservations for F&W. If you are going to an event, then you definitely need reservations.
