Candlelight Processional Dining Reservation ??'s

We are going to DW from 11/23 - 12/3 and we want to get a Candlelight Processional Dining Package reservation but when I called today I was told that they are not available yet. The CM could not tell me when they would be available to reserve.

Does anyone know from past yrs experience when they open?

Did you happen to ask what dates were available, or were none of the CP dates available? It would stink if a restaurant were available for reservations at 180 days, and fills up before the CP packages are available for reservations.

Deep breaths people. Candlelight Processional ADRs don't usually show up to be booked for quite awhile yet....it was late summer last year, and pretty much the same thing the year before. I doubt they will have ADR bookings open at the 180 day window for CP. They really need to list the narrators first, since a lot of people book according to the narrator.

Disney always holds back a certain number of spots in the restaurants for CP ADRs...have no fears. I have always been able to get a restaurant booked..it might not be my first choice but it's always at least my second choice.
Disney does not fill the restaurants now, and then allow CP pkg people to book any 'leftovers'.

Understanding that it might be a while before CP ADRs are available, if one already has a reservation at an Epcot restaurant, is it usually possible to convert it into a CP dining reservation?

I'm assuming that at worst you could cancel the existing reservation if they don't allow it to be converted, but thought I'd ask.

I thought I could do this a couple of years ago, and found out that I couldn't. I had to rebook it separately as a CP ressie and then cancel my previously made ADR.

Last year the information came out in August. You can only book by calling the dining number. Reservations for all ADRs were at 90 days in advance then. I expect that the CPP will be at 90 days again this year. I called right at 7 am last year and got through to an agent around 7:20 am. I had to settle for 3rd choice for restaurant but I wanted a Saturday night second or third show which probably made it more difficult. This year at 180 days I am going to book ADRs for 2 different nights in EPCOT. After I find out which night I can get the best CPP I'll cancel the ressie that would conflict with it.
