Candlelight Processional Dining Packages

Hey there! Any luck?!

Yes! I got two different reservations... now to try and decide which fits our plans better and cancel the other! I am so excited. I started trying at 4:30am CST. I got a reservation for 5 at Garden Grill on 12/28 for 3:50pm (8:30 show). I also just managed to get 12:20pm at Coral Reef also on 12/28 (7:00pm show). I think with my group, the food at Garden Grill might be preferable.

Question though- if I keep the 3:50pm ADR for that day, do you think I'd be able to park hop there at 2pm? I was worried maybe they'd reach capacity and we'd be turned away? We have park reservations currently that day for HS, but I can switch to Epcot if necessary.

I think worries about EPCOT reaching capacity should be very small - it's not likely to happen.

I assumed my desired dates of December 24th or 25th would be a challenge, but I was shocked to find nothing available even though I started searching before 6am. I am curious what others did differently than I in order to secure a booking.

But, I'm coming to the conclusion that I just may skip the whole thing this year... there's only one show per night at 8:30 and while I can't remember exactly how long it runs, if you want to find a half way decent spot to watch Harmonious afterwards, there really isn't much time. So, since I have seen it several time in previous years, I may end up just going to Animal Kingdom and watching the nighttime effects until closing, then head over to EPCOT and find my spot for the nighttime show. There will be other years to see Candlelight Processional again.

No, I don't think that is correct, at least not on the dates we will be there (Dec. 26-31). I have two reservations for CP Dining packages (will drop one) and they are for an 8:30 show and the other for a 7:00pm show.

Thank you. It was my understanding there will be 3 shows, that's why I was surprised at the earlier comment.

Yes. Some folks have gotten a package for a 5:15 show, too. So it appears there are 3 shows nightly.

Keeping my fingers crossed that something will pop up for my early December trip, as I'm traveling with a friend who has never seen the show before and I'd rather have a reserved seat guaranteed.

We're hoping to find something for 12/6 as that's our definite EPCOT day.

I was so surprised that there are only 4 restaurants this time around. I've set up a dining alert, hopefully something will open up closer to. If not, we might try the standby line if it's not too crazy.

A bunch of reservations just got dropped (I saw a ton of Biergarten and a few Rose and Crown). My dates were 12/15-12/17. Thanks to the dining alerts, I was able to get exactly what I wanted! Definitely set up alerts!

I have gone to the Candlelight Processional at least 14 times since 1994 and have never seen the issues getting reservations that have occurred this year. I tried at 12:10, 4:00 and from 6:30 in the morning with computer, iPhone and iPad using different apps and MDE account with no luck. There is no way that the four restaurant packages will fill three shows. Also the way Disney is going all out for profit, I can not see them having a stand by line if there is money to be made selling dining packages. Something doesn’t seem right
