Candlelight Processional Dining Packages can be booked starting October 29

I don't get the massive dessert push by Disney. Except I'm sure it has to do with $.

It may be money, but it may also be service. Most desserts are made and plated ahead of time, then stored in the fridge. When they go out to a table they usually don't need much extra attention.

Apps on the other hand can be made hot/fresh, and even cold apps like salads usually aren't made in advance. It saves the kitchen a ton of time, and if they prep too many desserts they can usually roll them over the next day in cold storage.

(This is based entirely on my experience working in the bakery of a Cheesecake Factory)

Saw them bookable just a few moments ago for our Epcot day (December 5th). Many restaurants available.

I booked one for Chefs de France at 2:30 for the 5pm show! My oldest has wanted to try that place for awhile now! It’s under “E” for Epcot and you’ll see the dining packages.

Have at it, folks! :-)

Some dates have some availability, but the week of Christmas, for example, doesn't come up at all.

CP package reservations are not supposed to start until 10/29. Kind of surprised some are available now. Last date I see CP packages for is 12/6.

Interesting. Not seeing it myself (which is fine, I'm not booking that week) but congrats!

I see plenty of times for Creperie on November 29th (date I want) but nothing referencing CP. Oh well.

@hsmamainva do you remember how you got to the booking page? From just book an ADR? Or search for Candlelight Processional? App or website? I’ve looked at both & nothing is coming up. Are you still able to see it as bookable?

I’m not even planning to go, but just love to solve a puzzle.

I don’t see them any longer. I was on the dining booking section of the app, searching for a morning ADR at Garden Grill and saw the “Epcot Events Candlelight Processional” above where Garden Grill would be.

Not sure if they’re all booked or Disney realized the glitch and turned it off. My booked reservation still shows up under my future plans.

Thanks! I’m sure they’re not all booked. You just lucked into a glitch. Hope you enjoy your dinner & narrator!

It's been YEARS since we've done a Candlelight booking so memories of how it ran is muddy to me -- and it could've changed since then. Based on a screenshot above, it looks like you choose a dining time tied to the show? Do you then receive a ticket/wristband/handstamp or something that gets you into the show tied to your reservation?

Also, how does the Regal Eagle same day reservations work? Do you need to head to Regal Eagle to make those reservations? If so, does anyone know when the Regal Eagle "opens" for you to go and make the reservation I person? Or do you do them through the app?
