Pat

15 days and counting . . . again!

Aw, man - I would love to see Marie Osmond (but we are flying home that day). I am a HUGE (Donny) Osmond fan from way back (my sister & I used to have posters on our walls; we talked my parents into taking us all over to see them in concert, in fact, we saw them in Houston and saw the same concert four times in two days!!!)

Dec. 4-5 Mario Lopez :cool1:  :cheer2:

I really don't know who Rite Morino is so now at least I know my speaker and he's cute. I could definately look at that for the whole time!!

Thanks for the update now I'm really looking forward to next Friday night!! popcorn:: ;)

We'll be there for Kirk Cameron. I grew up watching him on Growing Pains so I am excited :cheer2:

Mario IS eyecandy... but Moreno is cool in her own way.

Rita Moreno has done a LOT of tv work (Zorro episodes in the 60's, The Electric Company back in the 70's, Oz and Law & Order more recently) and work in movies (West Side Story is my favorite of hers... she plays Anita, friend to Natalie Wood's Maria, she was also Tuptim in the King and I).

Plus there's the fact that she as won an Oscar, Tony, Emmy, Grammy, and Golden Globe. :cheer2:

You and me both!! Get this, Marie is doing a concert in Florida when we are still in Utah. And after we leave for Florida she's doing a concert in Utah. We're going to the Candlelight Processional but not when Marie is there. Its just not my year apparently!!!

Aww, I guess it's too late to change to Monday for Mario Lopez. Oh well, Marie Osmond isn't too bad.

We were at the first Candlelight Processional of the season last night (5pm) and it was wonderful. David Robinson was a bit nervous but good. Those changes to the schedule were not on the programs handed out last night.

There were several distracting moments when a Disney manager went up into the choir (from the back room) twice - bringing back down with him a singer (visiting choir member) on one trip (??). Then a squirrel ran on stage and almost up into the chorus. Weird.

I'll post the songs and a picture later when I catch up on email, laundry and unpacking.

I would advise getting the dinner package if you haven't already done so. The line for those of us who had purchased tickets was very long by 45 mins before the show. The middle section was filled by the time we were seated, so we took front row seats so our little one could watch the action. But there's no doubt we lost the effect of the whole choir and the narrator by not being centered. I don't think many "stand-bys" got in. By the way... the ticketholder line formed at Japan, the standby line was on the opposite side between US and Italy.

Bring a blanket. It was nippy all week at WDW (40's-50's). Yesterday was our first day in the 70's - but by 5pm we needed full jackets, pants, gloves, hats and a blanket....all of which we forgot.

All in all it was worth it.

Did we luck out or what? We go to the CP on December 4. Looking at Mario will be very nice.

Hi mmmcq, thanks for the feedback from last nights show :)

Did they have snow at the end?

Weird about the squirrel!

We were planning on attending MVMCP on December 5th. Of course, DH found out about Mario, so we have to stop to see the 5pm showing before we can go to Mickey's House. I admit, since I'm being forced to go there, at least I have someone very nice to be looking at the whole time. ;)

No snow - unless it was further out from the stage and was done by the time we got up from our seats - because we were so far forward. But the lights on the trees went on and started twinkling at the end and my youngest DD noticed that - which was very pretty.

There is no snow in the show other than the lights made to simulate snow flakes that "fall" during one of the songs. I believe the choir member who was removed may have been sick. Glad to hear it was enjoyable I'm looking forward to it.

The choir member may have a signal when they start feeling faint. The last time we went, Gary Sinese was the reader. It was warm for the time of year and under the stage lights it had to be brutal. CM managers had to make a number of trips up to the stage to remove choir members whom were getting ill from the heat.

Well I'm going at the end Dec 26 through Jan 7 so I will see Marlee Matlin. Love reat as well.watching her sign. She is awesome. Interpreters are great as well. Who did the first show? Just a description and I will probably know who it is.
