I logged in at 5:40 Eastern and found 4 restaurants available for 12/4. App and website. Wanted Spice Road Table, which was not showing at all. Grabbed Chefs de France dinner to have something. Not excited. A few more restaurants loaded between then and 6, at which time system overloaded. I managed to keep refreshing and got Spice Road lunch. Now nothing is available at all for 12/4. Does anyone know if all the restaurant ever loaded? I only ever saw about half of them before I had to head to work.

Not sure if they all loaded. We had a similar situation. Initially only had a couple available. I refreshed and 2 more were there. We booked Teppan Edo. My wife couldn't figure out how I was able to book it so I showed her. While showing her, suddenly a huge list of restaurants was available. She swapped our Teppan Edo for our first choice Le Cellier.

I can't remember if any restaurants were were missing when we made the change.

No idea how I found it but I was able to book Nov 29th at the creperie in the last hour. There were so many time slots available, but now I can't find that page again. Oh well, I got what I wanted

It asks party size, then date, then which showtime, then you see options. Your email confirmation will also say “Candlelight” in the title.

Good morning! Has anyone gotten the 19th yet? I didn't set a reminder so just tried to get a reservation and nothing is showing available at all for that date (even for a party of 1). Is it possible they haven't opened that day? Thanks

Hi - just an update that I checked again just now and got a reservation for 6 at Chefs de France. I chose the 8:15pm show and there was a lot of availability across the restaurants.

Playing around a bit and seeing who is selling out I came across 12/16, availability for 1 person but no more. Many times showed at Le Creperie, Teppan Edo, Shiki-Sai, Nine Dragons and 1 time at Chefs de France. Nothing else. I put a Le Creperie time in my basket and 12/16 showed sold out entirely.

We are booked for lunch 6 ppl on 12/18 at Via Napoli for the 5 pm show. It was my first choice but now I'm second guessing myself that I should have picked the middle show haha. I'm worried it might be odd if it's not dark out at 5 pm. First world problems for sure.

I booked at about 3:50 a.m. Pacific time after dealing with all the glitches, etc. I was half asleep by that time and got in through the website and not the app but I'm not sure exactly how - I'm lucky I got the date and time I wanted haha!

Looking forward to the show! I've seen the CP once before at Disneyland and it was so lovely out on main street!

Is there an easy way to change the date that you want to look for once you have already selected one? So far, the only thing I've figured out is clearing cookies and refreshing and then I have to log in again.

It won't be dark so the colors won't be as vibrant BUT you won't have the show spoiled in any way. The downside to shows 2 & 3 are that you can end up standing in line listening to the previous show.

Thank you for this insight! I think it will be worth the lack of spoilers to have Daylight. Plus we are looking forward to having the evening hours to wander around Epcot. It will be our first visit to Epcot EVER!

I prefer the first show for this reason. Also, since sunset is about 5:30, I love to see dusk settling as the performance progresses. Very peaceful and beautiful.

We never do the first show but I prefer the second show to the third show because it gets progressively colder as the day goes on, and if you happen to be there on a cold day it’s nice to be able to do indoor attractions towards the end of the night.

I don't see any availability from Dec 11-18th. Being as that is Brendan Frasier, Ralph machio (the karate kid), Gary sinise (Lt. Dan), and of course NPH... it wouldn't surprise me if those dates were all sold out. However, I don't see the event in the "not available" category either. CP reservations just seem to not be there. Any thoughts?

I figured as much. I got a reservation for 8 (during the 1st hour mayhem) at tutto Italia for 12:30 on the 16th but was just trying to double check if there would be other options.

I'm not sure if my picky kids will like Moroccan food, but I grabbed it. And because that was supposed to be the day we fly in and would get there in the afternoon and too late to make it to dinner, I extended our stay and will fly in the day before so that we can enjoy a full day at Epcot and the show and not have to rush.

I wanted to do spice road but my wife basically said it would be much easier to feed the kids Italian, haha

Sounds like a win all around! I wanted to do another restaurant but went with Via Napoli so the kids would actually eat haha. We'll be there with you on the 18th!

I’ve read that guests head there as soon as the park opens and line up until they start to accept reservations.

There is no other strategy for that one…
